| You will engage your
Hand-Scapula Connection (or your Hand-Shoulderblade
Connection), which is for upper body
support. The rule is to keep your shoulderblades flat against the back of your
ribs while gently reaching them down towards your pelvis to safely support the
movements of your arms and upper body. |

Adjust
your pelvis. Touch your shoulders and form a 90-degree angle between
your elbows and your torso. (Figure 1).

- Relax your shoulders and Exhaling, GLIDE your elbows down to your
sides and ROLL them in towards each other and the Center of your chest
(Figure 2) . . .

- . . . up and around to
your ears
(Figure 3) . . .

- . . and Inhaling, open them
out -- shoulderblades flattening against your ribs
-- and around to Starting Position. (Figure 1)

- Repeat three times. GLIDE
your elbows down and around in towards each other
. . . Inhaling, up to your ears . . . and open out
to Starting Position.

- You are ROTATING your arms at your
shoulder joints, getting a 3-dimensional stretch.
|
- Now repeat three times, ROTATING in
the other direction.
