D-Stress Workshops are unique in that they combine psychological and physical techniques to enhance functionality and wellness in the workplace and throughout your life.   

D-Stress Workshops are designed for individuals, and groups in any setting, including social and corporate environments .

Since human beings primarily relate to our world on a physical level (often unconsciously), D-Stress programs combine inconspicuous, physical techniques with emotional stress relief methods to transform unwanted states to desired ones.  D-Stress techniques can be done at your desk, at home — anywhere — without drawing unnecessary attention to yourself.

The effects of stress can be devastating and spread from one individual throughout an entire organization.  In the wake of the September 11th tragedy, D-Stress programs place a special emphasis on identifying and calming hidden fears before they manifest in harmful ways. All of your feelings are respected and you learn skills to organize your thoughts and actions for your ultimate wellness. Some of these skills include enhancing your focus, prioritizing, taking action and effective communication.  The goal is to teach you to conquer your fear in an easy-going and enjoyable way and to feel safe to become as powerful as you truly are.

All D-Stress workshops are designed to address the needs of the group and encourage each individual to explore your specific goals with the intention of freeing your creative energies for your professional and personal lives. 

D-Stress programs can accommodate your organization’s needs in a corporate, private, and group setting and offer numerous programs to ensure that you achieve your wellness goals.  Follow-up sessions are available to participants who wish to fine-tune the work you have done in the D-Stress Workshops.  

D-Stress At Your Desk Workshop

Denise Cavassa, CMA’s own tried and true method of stress management and relief is always a new and exciting experience designed to leave you relaxed, released, and ready to handle the trials and tribulations that confront you daily. The concept of this Workshop is to have a good time while taking care of your Self. The D-Stress At Your Desk Video is available for you to have step-by-step instruction at home.

The D-Stress At Your Desk Workshop provides tension-relieving techniques that can easily be performed while at work without drawing unnecessary attention to yourself.  Like all BodyKnowledge programs, the D-Stress At Your Desk Workshop is designed in segments to be used separately or together as a whole program.

The D-Stress At Your Desk Workshop begins with an explanation of Denise’s BodyKnowledge techniques to access your Body Connections , which are the muscular-skeletal support systems in your body. From there, exercises are presented for you to D-Stress your entire body, including your eyes.

The Workshop ends with a Love Me Meditation where you are guided through a relaxing, yet invigorating process to condition your mind-body connection. Denise uses her voice as an instrument for relaxation with her tone, use of breath and tempo to soothe you to success.

Denise often uses the D-Stress At Your Desk Video in conjunction with a D-Stress workshop, which is a corporate wellness favorite.  However, the Workshop is presented so that you can perform the D-Stress techniques at home, in your office and whenever you want to.   The D-Stress At Your Desk Video is available for purchase.  (Approximately 27 minutes.)
